PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

PEO-1: To develop abilities and talents leading to creativity and productivity in various fields, and to produce the best technicians in Diploma in Civil Engineering by correlating to the growing needs of the industry.

PEO-2: To Promote among Diploma Students the ability to gain multi-disciplinary knowledge through industrial training, leading to a sustainable competitive edge in meeting societal needs.

PEO-3: To inculcate group work and team management skills, communications skills, leadership skills among the students.

PEO-4: To sensitize students towards issue of social relevance, openness to other extracurricular activities and to introduce them to professional ethics and practice.

  3. Design/Development of solutions: Design Solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or process to meet specific needs.
  4. Engineering tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
  5. Engineering Practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices
  6. Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.
  7. Life-Long Learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engaging updating in the context of technological changes.

  2. An ability to plan and perform experiments and practices and to use the results to solve Civil Engineering Problems
